May 2026 President's Newsletter
As we move through an incredibly active and exciting season, I wanted to take a moment to share some of the work happening behind the scenes at your Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce and, more importantly, why your investment in this organization truly matters.
Over the past two months, the Chamber team has been fully engaged in strengthening the business community through advocacy, leadership development, networking, economic partnerships, and community engagement. While many people see the events and ribbon cuttings, there is also a tremendous amount of work happening every day to position Cedar Park for long term success.
We recently hosted another successful Legislative Day at the Capitol, bringing business leaders together with state officials and agency leadership to advocate for issues important to our local economy. These conversations matter. Whether it is transportation, workforce development, education, infrastructure, or business regulations, your Chamber works to ensure the voice of Cedar Park businesses is represented where decisions are made.
Our leadership programs continue to grow and make a lasting impact. Leadership Cedar Park remains one of the premier leadership programs in the region, bringing together executives, entrepreneurs, public servants, and community leaders to better understand the issues and opportunities shaping our area. At the same time, we are incredibly proud of the inaugural class of the Cedar Park Youth Leadership Academy. Investing in future leaders today is critical to building the workforce and community leadership our region will need tomorrow.
The Chamber has also remained focused on creating meaningful connections for businesses of all sizes. Through Lunch Connect, Coffee with Council, networking events, ribbon cuttings, candidates forums, Women’s Connection, and industry conversations, we continue to provide opportunities for members to build relationships, grow visibility, and create new business opportunities. In today’s environment, relationships still matter and strong business communities do not happen by accident.
We also recently celebrated another successful Cedar Fest BBQ Competition & Festival. Events like Cedar Fest are not just community celebrations. They create economic activity, bring visitors into our city, showcase local businesses, and reinforce the sense of pride and momentum happening across Cedar Park.
Behind the scenes, the Chamber continues working closely with community partners, elected officials, school leadership, healthcare institutions, and economic development organizations to help shape the future of Cedar Park. From workforce conversations with Leander ISD to discussions surrounding mobility, development, tourism, and business retention, your Chamber is consistently at the table advocating for a stronger business climate and a stronger community.
Your membership investment makes all of this possible.
It helps us advocate for businesses when policy decisions are being made. It helps us support entrepreneurs and small businesses trying to grow. It helps us develop future leaders. It helps us create opportunities for connection and collaboration. Most importantly, it helps ensure Cedar Park continues moving forward as one of the strongest and most business-focused communities in Central Texas.
The momentum in Cedar Park is real. New businesses continue to invest here. Community partnerships continue to strengthen. Leadership pipelines are growing. And the Chamber remains committed to elevating the businesses and people who make this community special.
Thank you for your continued support, trust, and investment in the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to work on behalf of this business community every single day.
