A fast-growing Texas brewery and pizza chain is setting its sights on a new location outside its original city limits. Pinthouse Pizza is planning to build a massive, multimillion-dollar restaurant and brewhouse in Cedar Park, a small city about 20 miles northwest of downtown Austin.

The Austin-based pizzeria and brewery submitted three filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) in Williamson County for an upcoming "Pinthouse Pizza Cedar Park development." All three Pinthouse buildings have their own respective price tag attached, but the entire development is estimated to cost roughly $10.36 million combined, per the filings.

The address for the new Pinthouse is listed as 1605 East New Hope Drive in Leander, which borders Cedar Park. This new development comes as the pizza chain continues to grow beyond Austin, with Pinthouse welcoming its first San Antonio location in March.

The first TDLR filing for Pinthouse Pizza Cedar Park is a $7.43 million building, labeled building 1 of the project. The scope of work for building 1 includes the ground-up construction of a 13,640 square foot restaurant and brewery facility, including an additional covered canopy and outdoor beer garden.

Pinthouse's second construction filing is for building 2, which comes with a $1.72 million price tag. Work for this project includes the ground-up construction of an 8,175 square foot restaurant shell building with an envelope, structural systems, exterior walls, roof and associated construction to support the future restaurant.

Pinthouse's third filing is for building 3, which comes with a $1.21 million new construction price tag. Similar to building 2, this will be a ground-up construction of a 5,300 square foot restaurant shell building with an envelope, structural systems, exterior walls and roof, according to its scope of work.  All three projects are expected to begin construction in September and are slated to be completed by June 30, 2027. However, TDLR filings are subject to change at any time without notice.

Founded by six friends in Austin in 2012, Pinthouse is a fast-casual brewpub and pizza shop best known for its flagship craft beers like Electric Jellyfish hazy IPA and Magical Pils pilsner. The chain currently has four Austin-area locations and one newly opened spot in San Antonio.
