Bicycle Repair Technician

1. Mobile Service: Travel to customer locations to perform bicycle maintenance, repair, and tune-up services, including but not limited to:

• Brake adjustments and replacements.
• Gear adjustments and replacements.
• Tire repairs and replacements.
• Chain and drivetrain maintenance.
• Suspension adjustments and servicing.
• Ebike diagnostics and repair.
• Safety checks and inspections.

2. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes, suggesting necessary repairs or upgrades, and answering any questions or concerns customers may have.

3. Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized inventory of bicycle parts, tools, and equipment necessary for on-site repairs. Work with the owner to restock items before they run out.

4. Documentation: Complete service records, including a detailed description of work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance, using digital tools and software provided.

5. Safety: Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed safely and in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

6. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest bicycle technology and repair techniques through continuous training and development. Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic or technician.
• Strong knowledge of various bicycle types, components, and systems.
• Knowledge of all types of electrical bicycles and their components.
• Proficient in using bicycle repair tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile service vehicle.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy bicycles and equipment.
• Bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
