Tea Barista

SereniTea Cup is a family-owned tea lounge and boutique where our passion for tea and people extends beyond our doors and into the heart of the community. Prior barista experience is helpful but not required. We value a can-do attitude and a willingness to grow.

Barista Job Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• Enjoys washing dishes and cleaning the store :)
• Passion for tea (or excitement to learn about tea!)
• Excellent communication, people skills, and a positive attitude
• Great work ethic
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and stand on feet throughout the entire shift
• Desire to learn and grow
• Ability to multitask
• Flexible schedule (open availability preferred)
• Take customer orders and process payments using a POS System
• Prepare and serve hot and cold teas (using a variety of equipment)
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation (Food handling certification required – we will pay the fees for the right candidate) – No cooking or baking done onsite, just serving
• Restock supplies as needed
• Maintain a thoroughly clean and organized store environment, including continual cleaning of service areas, equipment, and the store
• Ensure all dishes, service ware, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after use

Store Hours/Shifts Needed:

• Tuesday to Saturday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM & Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (closed Mondays)
• ***MUST be available to work every Saturday
• Possible special events after hours on Sundays
• Closed on designated national holidays
