For 36 years, the Austin Steam Train Association (ASTA) has been a hidden gem in your own backyard. We are the only nonprofit excursion railroad in the state of Texas, the only excursion railroad in Central Texas, and the only museum in Cedar Park—a truly one-of-a-kind institution! Every week, we keep the magic of vintage railroading alive—connecting people with history and creating unforgettable experiences for folks in Cedar Park through our historic train and museum. Yet, many in our community still haven’t heard our story or experienced the magic of our historic train rides.

We invite you to join us for our inaugural Rails of Recognition Luncheon on April 10th at Springdale Station where you’ll learn about ASTA’s impact on our community, how we're making history more accessible, and just some of the key supporters who have helped us along the way, including Ben Sargent and The Boone Family. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow chamber members, learn about a Cedar Park treasure, and enjoy a great meal on us!
